Does the presumption of innocence work in America? Michael Gallagher found out for himself when he opened the newspaper one morning and saw his name on the front page. The article that followed was completely fabricated and accused him of a crime for which he had already been almost convicted.

At that moment, the previously successful businessman's life fell apart. He contacts the author of the article to find out what is behind the conspiracy against him. Together, they embark on an investigation that reveals that it was all just a trap set for him by someone very dangerous.
