SANTSAT – Svábhegyi Csillagvizsgáló

Ahoy Santsatians! ♡
On May 16 we’re heading above the city, all the way up to the telescopes of the Svábhegy Observatory, within arm’s reach of Saturn’s curve. We’re stretching the sound range, putting on the work gloves, laying out the blankets in the green and letting things get a little loose.
We’re no strangers to Svábhegy, it's one of our favorite spots for a reason. The Observatory is Hungary’s leading astronomical center, home to the country’s largest public telescopes, set in the middle of a 100-year-old park.
On the music side: the cloud-tight New Fossils and the instrument-driven, improvisational Shakar Trio, joined by Berlin-seasoned Mark Gill with his eclectic, rhythmic selections, going b2b with Enzio Etchaberri. Also on the lineup: the disco-synth pulse of Adis Is OK, while Manek and Kalamanka bring some progressive house.
The GAL-Lugas returns with the non-music space: hatha yoga with Lala, radical acceptance and free-form creation with graphite and charcoal, the “What a boomer!” talk on generational gaps, and a creative writing workshop with the Képző.art crew.
Together with the Observatory we’re preparing daytime and evening observations, bringing the sports library with free-to-use games and gear, and firing up pizzas, tacos and specialty coffee.
