Metropole Orkest has traditionally been hosting the opening concert of the Amsterdam Dance Event in the Melkweg for eight years now. This year, in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist and composer Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, they will pay a special tribute to J Dilla, one of the most admired and influential hip-hop producers of the 2000s, who left a strong mark on contemporary electronic music with his inventive beats.
