This October, we're re-opening our lakeside cabin for three intimate and lovingly curated events. Two clubnights and one special daytime event. One more weekend of Phono Lake before we close for the winter.

This ADE’s Friday, we’re giving the keys to our lakeside cabin to Sandrien & Magda. Two selectors who have seen it all within electronic music yet always manage to keep their sets fresh, exciting and innovative. A journey trough house and techno with ample sidetracks and plenty discovery.

Amsterdam’s Sandrien broke onto Amsterdam’s leftfield techno scene in 1999 and has never taken her foot off the gas. Known for her versatility, meandering from high-energy breaks to athmospheric sounds, Sandrien has made an impact on the scenes, but arguably even more from behind them as a co-founder of LGBTQA platform ‘IsBurning’, leader of her own club-night ‘Imprint’ that dit regular clubnights at the notorious Trouw.

She teams up with the Polish born and Detroit-raised Magda, who lights up dancefloors around the world with a sound that reflects the various characteristics of her surrounding. A widely cultured perspective on house and techno, which she also showcases on her ‘Items & Things’ label imprint, cofounded with Marc Houle and Troy Pierce. Her talents stretch far beyond the boot and studio as she has worked on diverse projects within art, fashion and technology and producing her own tequila.
